1.Market Highlights
Encouraged by strong demand, Chinese imported tantalum concentrate and niobium concentrate prices increased this month. As most suppliers faced higher prices for raw materials, Chinese tantalum oxide, tantalum metal, niobium oxide and ferroniobium market prices increased this month.
As supply remained tight, European tantalite and ferroniobium market prices increased this month. Encouraged by higher production cost, American tantalum metal market prices rose in January.
