Owing to the Chinese Spring Festival holiday (from 7th to 16th Feb), tungsten market kept quiet with few buying activities in February. At the beginning of February, most of the market participants left the market for holiday, and went back to the market in middle of the month. They held wait-and-see attitudes towards the future market, and were inactive in making deals in the spot market. The supply was tight owing to the holiday, and the tungsten products offers moved up gradually. However, the trading volume and the transaction prices did not show any obvious improvements.
