BEIJING (Asian Metal) 1 Mar 13 – The increase of lead smelting capacity was as high as 950kt in China in 2010, but the growth of lead smelting capacity slowed down gradually in recent two years. According to the statistics from Asian Metal, the increase of lead smelting capacity is only about 430kt in 2012. Some lead smelting projects postponed to start operation to 2013, and the growth of lead smelting capacity is estimated to reach about 720kt in 2013.
