Generally prices of seamless pipe kept unchanged in the first week of this month as the Spring Festival (February 10) was coming and most traders had no intention to adjust quotations. The second week was the holiday and the business was halted. The price rose slightly early of the third week stimulated by traders’ positive expectations as well as price rises of raw materials, but later it lacked power to rise further when prices of raw materials dropped. Insiders deem the price is likely to go down slightly next month.
