After the New Year holiday, as many producers reported thin profit or without profit, they refused to lower price future. On the other hand, cobalt price has fallen to a low level from the historical statistics, so many traders and some consumers began to enter the market to make procurement, which drove price up. In early January, cobalt price rebounded. With more and more buyers replenishing raw materials, cobalt market was active in the first half of January. Chinese Spring Festival comes in the first half of February and buying activities in cobalt market decreased in the second half of January.
