Bismuth market remains quiet in January and sees little change in prices. Bismuth ingot suppliers are reluctant to sell and some stop offering, waiting to see the market after the Spring Festival holidays. End users still purchase from hand to mouth and demand does not show significant improvement. Bismuth oxide market remains stable in China where thin deals are made. Bismuth export market sees few inquiries, but offers for bismuth ingot are relatively firm.
