Chinese cadmium ingot market in January shows the following new features, demand of cadmium ingot decreases, with the Spring Festival Holiday approaching, many consumers enter their holidays in advance. In the first half month of January, the procurement activities increase, and most users need to make procurement of raw materials, but they do not receive new product orders. In the second half of January, the deals and the inquiries reduced obviously, most of the participants get into holiday. Traders note that the cadmium ingot import prices rebound and the supply reduced.
Prices for cadmium ingot in January do not fluctuate greatly, prices for the imported materials are staying at RMB15.5-16/kg and prices for China origin materials are RMB16-16.5/kg. Prices for cadmium oxide are RMB19-19.5/kg and demand keeps weakly stable.
