In December, black silicon carbide ran slowly and the price remained at the low level. The preferential power policy was continued in Northwest-based producers in December and the freight cost increased at the end of year due to the tense of railway. Green silicon carbide domestic market seemed to be more sluggish in spite that some preferential policies for PV enterprises had been unveiled. Export market saw more orders in December as many foreign consumers increased intake to stock more inventory for January and February in view of the approaching of Chinese New Year and low price of silicon carbide.
