The tungsten market kept quiet in December, and the demand from the overseas and domestic markets did not pick up. In the beginning of the month, the tungsten prices moved up owing to the guiding prices. But only some large-sized companies purchased the materials at high prices level, and there were a few deals being concluded in the spot market. Without support from the demand, the tungsten prices decreased from the mid-December. The trading volume remained thin. Furthermore, the suppliers were active in selling materials in the end of year, and the tungsten market saw lower offers. The tungsten market ran slowly in December.
