Chinese domestic HRC prices witnessed a general increasing trend within this month supported by low market inventory and high list prices from steel mills. Despite of weak downstream demand and financial pressure before the Spring Festival, traders had controlled stocks at a low level and operated cautiously. Thus, insiders predict that prices may increase slightly in January 2013.
