In the first week after the National Day holiday (Sept. 30th – Oct. 7th), most Chinese antimony market participants held a watchful attitude toward the future market, and the market saw thin deals. The price of antimony ingot 99.65%min and antimony trioxide 99.5%min respectively kept at RMB70,000-72,500/t (USD11,236-11,637/t) ex works and RMB62,000-64,000/t (USD9,952-10,273/t) ex works. In the second week, the price of antimony ingot 99.65%min went down by RMB500/t (USD80/t) to RMB69,500-72,000/t (USD11,156-11,557/t) ex works owing to very few deal in the spot market into October. Till the end of October, the price of antimony ingot 99.65%min decreased another RMB1,000/t (USD161/t) to RMB68,500-71,000/t (USD10,995-11,396/t) ex works as many consumers made replacement before the holiday and did not plan to replenish in the short term. For antimony trioxide 99.5%min, the price still kept at RMB62,000-64,000/t (USD9,952-10,273/t) ex works till the end of the month with thin deals in the spot market.
