In October, tungsten market remained dull with sluggish demand. Due to sluggish economic situation, cemented carbide demand was weak, and the consumption for APT and tungsten carbide powder was low. Consumers in domestic market and foreign market reduced raw material stocks on hand, and rebuilt stocks from hand to mouth, so there were thin transactions in spot market. Most market participants forecasted that tungsten market will see little change until the end of the year, and the price of tungsten concentrate will keep firm to support APT and tungsten carbide powder prices.
