The price of silicon steel experienced an upward trend caused by the slight increase of demand from downstream customers and traders’ measures. Meanwhile, most leading producers of electrical steel lifted their list prices of cold rolled silicon steel products for November productions. As the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (November 8) is coming and both traders and buyers are keeping a close eye on it, insiders predict that prices are likely to rise slightly affected by political factors next month.
