Selenium and tellurium markets both rebound late the month after another decrease in the first half of the month. Demand from downstream market does not show significant improvement, but traders become active in rebuilding stocks. Some manganese smelters planed to reopen at the end of August, but have not resumed production yet. Foreign selenium suppliers start to raise their offers at the end of the month with more inquiries received. Tellurium suppliers are reluctant to sell, and supply is not that abundant. Tellurium market witnesses lower prices, but later on tellurium prices start to rebound.
