Prices of seamless pipe fluctuated in most areas across the country this month due to fluctuations in prices of raw materials like steel billet, as well as lowered ex-works prices of steel mills. Therein, leading steel mills like Baotou Steel and Pangang Group, Chengdu Branch moved down list prices of seamless pipe by RMB200-450/t during the period. Besides, the market performance did not witness a recovery as expected with limited sales volumes reported by traders, who still faced with great delivery pressures.
