Selenium and tellurium markets remain dull in July with prices sliding further. Demand from downstream market remains dull and end users only purchase from hand to mouth. As many manganese smelters shut down, with prices dropping continuously, selenium dioxide prices decrease after a period of stability. Selenium price also slides further, so does the international price on the weak demand. Tellurium price continues to drop and some suppliers are reluctant to sell. Most participants do not feel optimistic about the future market.
