Cast iron market consolidated at a low level in the first half of the month. Demand rebouded with the weather turning warm, and iron plants began to raise the price, while steel mills still kept unchanged purchasing price. Steel mills can meet the needs with current operation situation, and they kept the demand at low levels, while values for cast iron increased as downstream steel billet price rose.
