Due to slow demand from stainless steel market and pessimistic attitudes towards the future ferrochrome market, many consumers are pressing down the purchasing prices of high carbon ferrochrome in July and August, which makes ferrochrome market in thin deals and price decrease. Chrome ore market is in stalemate with low bids from Chinese domestic buyers. Most traders have to suspend chrome ore offers with wait-and-see attitudes towards the future market. Meanwhile, imported chrome ore prices have no sign of going down obviously. Chinese traders are reluctant to import more materials due to high risks.
