Chinese manganese alloys market keeps moving at low levels. Steel mills keep depressing biding prices for manganese alloys with a decline in procurement volumes. Producers of manganese alloys have to bear more pressure from high operation cost, low sale prices and weak demand, and many of them are in losses. The operation rate is decreasing. Imported manganese ore market keeps turning downward in spot market despite of the firm offers from overseas suppliers. The spot prices have been below the level of foreign offers. The international manganese alloys market remains sluggish with slow activities and declined prices.
