This month domestic tantalum and niobium market keeps at a low level, while the international market keeps stable, especially the demand of capacitor grade tantalum powder from international market. As most of the domestic plants mainly produces the low end products, which still see weak demand at the present time. Cemented carbide and the wrought tantalum and niobium metal industries are dim, so most domestic tantalum and niobium plants reduced their output or half part of production for certain products. Metallurgical grade niobium oxide demand is still decreasing; plants who are mainly producing niobium oxide are now in a awkward situation.
