HRC prices in major markets of China went down sharply in the month due to customers’ weak demand and traders’ high sales pressure. In addition, steel mills like HBIS moved down list prices for June production and most market participants had no confidence in the forthcoming market. Insiders do not suppose that Chinese domestic HRC prices are likely to rebound in the following month.
