In May, brown fused alumina market moves slow as the demand from downstream consumers was still weak, and some smelters in Shanxi even cut down the price of lumps slightly. Although freight from China to Europe dropped slightly, European market was dull due to potential risk of Greece departure from European Union. While white fused alumina market was still steady and slow with price unchanged.
