Both domestic and international cadmium ingot markets go steadily with the few deals concluded in May. Cadmium ingot 99.99% prices decreased from RMB17.5-18/kg (USD2.78-2.86/kg) to RMB17-17.5/kg (USD2.70-2.78/kg) following the downward tendency of the international market trend. However, the downstream demand keeps slow, with consumers still buying from hand to mouth and not willing to hold stocks in hand. At the present time, the cadmium ingot supply exceeds greatly the demand, and it is easy to get the materials from the market. Demand of cadmium oxide from the nickel-cadmium industry keeps dim.
