International molybdenum market saw a slight increase after the Easter Day holiday for short supply of spot materials. However, purchase volume shrunk again a week later with concluded prices falling back. Chinese molybdenum market was firm in the first half of April too, but it was pressed down for lower tender prices for ferromolybdenum from steel mills.
