In March, the downstream industries for LED still kept sluggish and most buyers were hesitant to make purchase in big volume. The prices for Chinese gallium metal 99.99%min decreased from RMB2,700-2,900/kg (USD428-460/kg) to RMB2,500-2,700/kg (USD396-428/kg) in March, with a RMB200/kg (USD31/kg) decrease throughout this month. The price could go down further with few buying activities into April.
