Steel scrap market recovered as steel market picked up in March, and figures for scrap rose by RMB50-150/t as small steel mills resumed to purchase. Major steel mills declined purchasing prices of steel scrap by RMB100-150/t in February, to RMB3,300-3,320/t VAT included for burden fines 6mm min in East China. However, the numbers increased to RMB3,350-3,370/t for burden fines 6mm min, and to RMB3,400-3,420/t VAT included for steel plate scrap in East China in March
