Although steel mills in Shandong Province kept lifting ex-works prices of seamless pipe this month, with a total markup of RMB250-300/t, the market price did not witness a sharp increase dragged by the soft demand from downstream customers. In the meantime, prices of raw material like iron ore, tubing blank and steel billet showed an upward trend. Seeing the demand will get strong with the weather turning warmer in April, sources deem the price is likely to move up slightly next month.
