1 Lithium price in China
In general, lithium carbonate price came down in the first half of 2011 and then rebounded in the second half of 2011. In the first quarter of 2011, demand and supply maintained a balance and lithium carbonate price kept stable. Sichuan Tianqi Lithium Industries, Inc, General Lithium (Haimen) Corp. and so on expanded their output, while Guoan Lithium Sci. & Tech. Co., Ltd kept out of production in 2011. However, the market was a little bit oversupplied from May and some suppliers were in a hurry to sell and began to dump goods, resulting in decreasing price.
