The Chinese indium prices began to be pushed up by the domestic investors in the beginning of February as a result of the pollution incident happened in Guangxi province. However, the overseas market shows a dull performance as the demand from downstream industries did not really firm up. The overseas indium prices increased slightly under the pressure of the domestic indium market. Although the indium price was pushed up by the investors in earlier February, it began to slide down at the end of February due to the insufficient momentum from downstream consumers.
