Bismuth industry has been prosperous in the first half of 2011 with demand and prices of bismuth increasing in both Chinese domestic and overseas markets. Many producers in China have enlarged production after a rapid growth. Later the year, due to debt crisis in Europe, bismuth prices drop very quickly due to decreasing confidence.
