The magnesium ingot price decreased slightly in some areas. Currently magnesium ingot buyers lowered the price of magnesium ingot with the feeble demand during this period, for buyers have stocked enough materials for the coming Holiday and the Q1. Furthermore, magnesium ingot producers have to recycle money back in the end of year, so some producers have to move down the price of magnesium ingot to attract orders in advance. The prices in Shanxi and Shaanxi respectively remained at RMB16,500-16,700/t (USD2,619-2,650/t) ex works and RMB15,950-16,200/t (USD2,531-2,571/t) ex works. Even though many magnesium ingot producers are reluctant to sell at lower than RMB16,100/t (USD2,555/t) ex works in Shaanxi, while producers in Shanxi could not accept the price lower than RMB16,500/t (USD2,619/t) ex works. Considering the feeble demand in magnesium ingot market, some of magnesium ingot producers were rush to low the price to attract buyers. At the same time, poor confidence among some of magnesium ingot producers.
