There were two holidays in January 2012, and they are respectively the New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival Holiday. The holidays made the originally dim market become worse. There were fewer deals in domestic cadmium market and most of the participants entered into their holidays in advance. There were some cadmium oxide producers who prepared some stocks for the consumers in lunar January. Generally, the cadmium market in China was dim.
