There were two holidays in January 2012, and they are respectively the New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival Holiday. Most of the market participants left the market to enjoy their holidays. There was no new order in the tantalite import market, and only some materials arrived which ordered one or two months ago. Tantalum and niobium markets in China were almost in a stalemate not only due to the two holidays but also due to the sluggish demand from both home and abroad markets.
