Due to the replenishment of ferrochrome in Chinese stainless steel mills, the purchasing prices of ferrochrome keep going up, the same as those prices in spot market. However, chrome ore market keeps quiet in Chinese main ports, as those ferrochrome smelters have finished their chrome ore purchase. Chrome ore prices become stable with few enquiries and most participants are waiting for a better chrome ore market after the Spring Festival holidays.
