In December 2011, gallium market continued to be sluggish and most movements were from long-term contracts. Most buyers were on their New Year holiday, which softened the buying activities further. With the enlarged supply from some Chinese producers and the delayed purchase of most buyers, gallium price decreased to the lowest level in 2011.
