Bismuth market experienced opposite development in the first and second half of December though demand did not change much in the month. Due to the Christmas holiday in Europe, bismuth export was very stagnant in the whole month. While demand was also dull inside China in the first two weeks, bismuth price kept dropping in China. Later, as end users in domestic market returned to replenish raw material, demand improved and led to higher prices in the spot market.
