Aluminum price continued to decrease with fluctuations in both domestic market and overseas market in November due to debt crisis in Europe and weak demand in China. Aluminum price dropped below RMB16,000/t in the last ten-day period of November and aluminum plants were bearing more losses. Chinese government increased internet connection fee and electricity sales price further in the end of November and production cost rose sharply, offering great supports for aluminum price to rebound. There was still space for private enterprise to obtain profits even though alumina price continued to drop as aluminum ingot market kept at a low level.
