After the National Day Holiday, prices of lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide tended to be stable and Chinese made lithium carbonate prices were about RMB37-38.5/kg and RMB35-37/kg for battery and industrial grade respectively. Meanwhile, mainstream price of lithium hydroxide was around RMB37.5-39/kg. From early October, demand became weak and there was no momentum to pull up lithium price further. Most market participants predict that lithium carbonate price will continue to be stable in the short run.
