Bismuth price dropped significantly in October when demand of the material remained slow while supply was very sufficient in China. Many producers were facing pressure of increasing stocks at hand. Lower prices were expected in the future, depressing the suppliers further while in the meanwhile, buyers were hesitant to replenish much material while the future market was still gloomy. Bismuth oxide price also dropped greatly due to lower production cost.
