Australian and South African suppliers lifted zircon sand price from this month with big markup, but few Chinese consumers accepted the high price. Zirconium market was sluggish on the whole in October in China based on the quiet purchase, and prices for zircon sand, zirconium silicate, and zirconium sponge slipped accordingly.
