In early September, European summer vacation came to an end and participants return to the market. September is the traditional busy month for lithium battery industry. In the first half of September, though European economy was weak in general and purchasers were cautious about buying, traders still chose the opportunity to raise prices. However, as supply was ample, while demand from lithium battery industry did not increase so fast as it did in the past years, Chinese cobalt market did not follow suit to rise, but went down under the situation that consumers continued to press down prices.
