Chinese manganese alloys market keeps surging this month. The operation is still affected by the severe power rationing in southern China and the output of manganese alloys has decreased greatly. The tight spot material supply makes producers reluctant to sell their stocks promptly. Steel mills find it hard for them to replenish their inventories with few spot materials in the market. However, demand for imported manganese ore remains sluggish due to a low operation rate in downstream market. Traders have seen a dull sale in spot market and the price keeps weak. The international manganese alloys market keeps generally stable but the demand remains sluggish and it is hard for the market to rebound.
