Section steel prices in most Chinese domestic markets fluctuated greatly in August. Since it was transitional month of section steel market, in the first half month, prices generally saw a downward or stable trend. However, as it gradually entering into the peak season of September, most section steel prices moved up slightly supported by high raw material prices except those in Shanghai. Despite slow market and week demand, most traders are confident of the coming market because many construction products will be initiated in September.
