In early July, chrome market keeps sluggish, as many participants are pessimistic towards the market trend with the bad expectation of price decrease and no hope of recovery. However, since middle of July, chrome ore market becomes going up with the purchasing price increase of high carbon ferrochrome from major stainless steel mills. The purchase of ferrochrome and chrome ore is more active and many suppliers are unwilling to sell more materials, waiting for much higher prices.
