The domestic seamless pipe market in China continued to be inactive this month and prices in major markets witnessed a stable trend in general. Although prices of raw materials such as iron ore and tubing blank showed an upward price trend, the price of seamless pipe was hard to go up because of the weak demand from downstream customers. With the coming of the traditional peak season, the demand is likely to turn stronger, leading to a price increase. Therefore, sources predict that prices of seamless pipe are likely to go up in September.
