The magnesium ingot price made its way upward without strong support from demand in July. Transactions reduced for many buyers delayed purchase given high price; therefore, the magnesium ingot price cannot sustain the increasing trend as it did in June. While the price still went up steadily due to no stock with shrinking output. The magnesium ingot output reduced much because of lack of hands and equipment maintenance during summer months; additionally, coal supply also ran shortly, which has become a key reason for the output decrease too.
