The steel scrap price in domestic market was mainly in the uptrend in the past 7 months. The purchasing price of steel scrap in the mainstream mills in Jiangsu kept stable as the quotation of burden fines 6mm min from mainstream mills such as Sha Steel, Xingcheng Steel stayed at RMB3,870-3,900/t d.p. delivered by cahs payment. The purchasing price of steel scrap in some small-scale mills increased slightly by around RMB50/t due to the tight supply as the transaction price of burden in local market was as high as RMB3,500-3,520/t d.u. delivered by cash payment.
