HR strip prices in major markets of China saw an upward trend in the month mainly supported by higher raw material cost and price increase of steel mills. However, without urgent need, many customers still purchased the material inactively during the low season and the sales performance remained poor. Therefore, insiders predict HR strip price is hard to keep rising in the coming month.
