Chinese domestic HRC market ran quiet and the price kept a downward trend this month. With the coming of traditional low season, downstream users and retailers purchased inactively, thus the sales performance was limited. Although most mainstream steel mills’ list prices for June productions kept stable or moved up slightly, the market did not show any sign of improvement. According to market participants, the weak demand from customers restricts the market to recover. Facing the dim market situation, traders are lack of confidence. Insiders predict Chinese domestic HRC market will continue running quiet in June.
