As most consumers remained inactive in placing orders, Chinese imported tantalum prices decreased this month. As raw materials' prices decreased, Chinese tantalum oxide,tantalum metal, niobium oxide and ferroniobium prices decreased in July. Encouraged by active inquiries, Chinese imported niobium concentrate market prices showed uptrend this month.
Discouraged by weak demand, European tantalite and ferroniobium market prices decreased this month. American tantalum metal prices increased in July as most consumers came back to the market.
